The hamlet of La Forêt is a great base from which to discover Burgundy, between the famous vineyards and the Morvan nature park, with many walking paths and cycle tracks nearby.

On the other side of the kitchen is the cosy living room with beamed ceilings, terracotta floor tiles and a woodburning stove. Stairs from the living room lead to a mezzanine area and 2 bedrooms.

The house is mostly double glazed and has individual electric heaters to compliment the heat from the wood burning stove. The furniture and equipment are available by negotiation.

The garden has a paved terrace in front of the kitchen, ideal for outside dining, with views over the rolling countryside. From the terrace, some stone steps lead down to the vaulted cellar which is useful for storing bicycles and garden furniture.
