The Parsons Game Reserve is a member of the Balule Nature Reserve which is part of the Greater Kruger National Park

This is one of the last opportunity to own a piece of the famous park... in the last addition to this 20 000 KM2 area (no fences).

A really safe investment in an, already, protected wildlife area which will soon (in the next 2 years) be totaly incorpored under SANPARK... Some project with SANPARK are already scheduled like the introduction of rhinos, (black) for June 2011!

Parsons is a "new" reserve, recently open on Balule/KNP. We are 2 to 5 year behind Olifant West (other side of Balule). There is a lot, of little things, to be done to upgrade this reserve to the highest standards. Currently we a have a great committee with strong relationships, commercial and private, who are moving a lot of things around the reserve!

There is no doubt that, being soon part of SANPARK, combined to all those commercials developments will definitively give, on a short base, a good return on investment

Parsons offers Big Five game and is set along the Olifant River (north side)

Fully furnished double- storey house of +/- 700 sqm set on a rocky edge. The property has been design to combine luxury, comfort and immersion in this immaculate wilderness.

From the main deck, on the first level, you can enjoy endless views on the kruger, the marula trees and the Drakensberg. From this deck you can as well observe the game which comes to drink at the nearby waterhole. This is the area where you will spend most of your time, protected from the sun and with a light breeze.

There is a nice and wide wooden path which leads you from this main deck down to the pool area. A beautifull 5X10m pool with two infinity edges and a big wooden deck among rocks and trees. The external area is totally secured from the bush with wooden handrails.

The house is equipped with large double sliding doors providing nice views on the bush and lots of light. There is a large stair case reaching the first floor & leading to a big open space (kitchen, living room). Floor and colors have been chosen to keep a natural feeling (brown natural earth quote on the floor and a mix between beige, terracotta, kaki and grey for the wall colors).

Three of the main suites are upstairs (one of them has got two rooms). All en suite with a large bath, an open shower and a toilet, plus an access to the terrace and the main deck. Air-conditioning systems are already installed in the rooms.

There is also a large living room upstairs and an open kitchen with a heigh tatched ceilling, this space is very clear and offers great views on both side of the lodge. The kitchen is fully equipped and has got an American bar open to the living room. There is also a storage room and a guest toilet.

There are two other suites downstairs. Both of them have sliding doors and an en suite bathroom. One of them is big enough to be considered as a « flat » or as an office/reception desk.

At the back of the lodge there is a staff room (with a shower), a laundry area and a small workshop. All this part of the lodge has been fenced (wood). There is a second staircase which leads straight from this area to the back kitchen and the storage room.

There is a private road to access the lodge from the river road which is the main road in the reserve.

A car port for three cars has been placed on the side of the lodge.


A new transformer of 100V has been recently installed by ESKOM (11/2009). This transformer generates more than enough power for the Lodge (and way more if needed). A new 35 mm electric cable has been installed between the Eskom pole/transformer and the lodge (100m down on the property).

Certificate of compliance (COC) issued the 12/03/2010

Borehole and tank (5000l) are hidden near the property. The water is provided to the lodge with a pressure pump.
The water is filtered with a water softener installed in December 2009 by Purely Water

There is an Internet connection provided via radio (special dish) as well as a DSTV dish


This lodge is actually owned by a CC which is VAT registered.
