Is it the ideal location? The mountains are an hour's drive away, so close enough for skiing, hiking and cycling, but far enough away to avoid the worst of the weather.

For main shopping there is a choice of 3 towns all within 20 minutes, each with their own supermarket(s) and weekly market.
During the summer, many events are organised in the most beautiful villages with medieval architecture.
The jewel in the crown is the Marciac jazz and music festival, which attracts artists from all over the world for 3 weeks, closely followed by the 4-day country-western festival in Mirande, both 20 minutes away.
If you miss the city life or want more shopping, Tarbes and Auch are less than 40 minutes away.
